About Me

Meet Tanner Crain, Founder of Flexigrit
Hello, I’m Tanner Crain, the founder of Flexigrit. I’ve been a painter in Southern Utah, for over five years, tackling everything from interiors to custom, exotic finishes. Every painter knows that prep work is essential—especially masking and SANDING. I’ve spent countless hours sanding, and I’ve often found myself with a worn-out pad halfway through the job. These pads were too costly to throw away but too worn to work efficiently, making the job take longer and leaving me frustrated with the high cost of supplies.
I got tired of expensive, short-lived sanding pads and decided it was time for a change. That’s why I created Flexigrit: to provide painters and retailers with a sanding solution that’s both affordable and high-quality.
At Flexigrit, we produce sanding pads from high-performance materials designed to last longer. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast or a professional, our pads meet a wide range of needs. My goal is to get Flexigrit Sanding Pads into every paint shop in the USA. By offering Flexigrit, you’re giving your customers a reliable and durable solution at a fraction of the price. Flexigrit is quickly becoming the go-to choice for sanding pads across America.
As a small, one-man operation, I keep things personal and responsive. When you order from Flexigrit, you get exactly what you need—on time, every time. Our pads are durable, affordable, and easy to use, which means they can help boost sales in your store while providing your customers with great value.
I’m committed to making your experience with Flexigrit as seamless as possible. If you have any questions or are ready to place an order, I’m here to help. I look forward to working with you and helping your business grow with the best sanding pads on the market!
Why Flexigrit Pads are More Effective:
-
Paper Backing (Traditional)
In traditional paper-backed sandpaper, pressure isn’t spread evenly. Rough or uneven areas push harder into the surface, causing sharp edges to dig in more. This leads to uneven sanding and a rougher finish, with scratches or gouges in the surface.
-
Foam Backing
Flexi Grit Sanding Pads have a foam backing that allows for some "give." This helps the pad conform to the surface, spreading pressure evenly. The foam stops the grit from digging in too deep, providing a smoother, more consistent finish without scratches or gouges.
